Football and Sports Development Coordinator
The role offers an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and dynamic individual to work with Crawley Town FC Community Sports Foundation.
The successful candidate will have the knowledge and experience of sports/football development and an understanding of grassroots football structures and development pathways at local, regional and national level.
We are seeking a passionate individual to plan and deliver a coordinated football and sports development programme, with the aim of improving participation within the development continuum – from grass roots to elite development.
As this position is a key appointment to the Foundation, you will have the ambition to achieve targets and to creatively overcome obstacles. You will be a leader of coaches and participants, and so have the ability to inspire and motivate people from all backgrounds and communities.
The post holder will be responsible for overseeing the growth, organisation, delivery and evaluation of schools development including curricular and after schools work, Saturday soccer schools, holiday courses, evening sessions, development squads (community / academy links) as well as other community projects, competitions, events and initiatives.
You will be expected to work on Crawley Town FC home match days and some unsociable hours.
The position is part of the core development of the scheme’s range of programmes, football & sport participation & development, health, education, inclusion, and community development.

Salary: £16-18,000 (depending on experience)
