Joe Walsh and Gwion Edwards called up for under-21 qualifiers
Defender Joe Walsh and midfielder Gwion Edwards have today been named in Wales' under-21s squad for their forthcoming European U-21 Championship qualifiers.The Welsh face Finland in Turku on Friday September 5 (4pm) and Lithuania in Alytus four days later, also at 4pm UK time.
It means neither will be available for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie against Cambridge United on September 2 or the Sky Bet League One fixture at home to Rochdale four days later.
Joe has so far won nine U-21 caps and Gwion four. Gwion also scored for his country in the qualifier against England in Swansea in May.
