Play for Crawley Town in over-50s walking football tournament

Are you over 50? Do you love football but no longer play? Walking Football may be just for you…

Walking Football is a slow-paced version of the beautiful game, aimed at the over 50s. It is designed to help individuals maintain an active lifestyle as well as support players back into football, where injuries or ill health have prevented participation.

Crawley Town Community Foundation are looking to set up a group to represent the club in an upcoming Football League Trust Walking Football Tournament.

The Regional Finals will be taking place on Saturday, 14th May, from 11am-1pm in Luton. No experience is necessary, though it would be preferable.

For more information, and to register your interest please contact Amy Fazackerley, the club's Community Development Coordinator, via e-mail AmyFazackerley@crawleytownfc.com or phone 01293 410000.

Incidentally, if you are not already taking part with us why not try our Walking Football sessions?

Sessions run every Friday from 12.30-2.30pm on the Checkatrade.com Stadium 3G (opposite Redz Bar) and cost just £3 per person. There is no need to reserve a place, however prior contact is advised, as session times are subject to change.
