Reds boss Steve Evans was delighted with the quality of play his team delivered last night (Tuesday) to come back from a goal down inside the opening seconds to record an excellent win over high flying AFC Wimbledon.

Evans watched on as Forrest and Ademeno got the goals but the manager wanted to praise all his squad and not just those that found the back of the net. Steve said, '' The lads played some super football. The passing and movement gave our opposition problems all evening as it did to Luton Town, Salisbury City and Stevenage Borough before them. We should have won more comfortably on the night than we did such was our dominance but it was a big 3 points''.

'' No player deserves particular mention, I believe it should be collective given the contribution each of the lads is making at present. Everyone knows we have the smallest of squads but there is a great deal of quality within it I know that much''.

'' I have always maintained when we get our energy levels at maximum and we pass the ball we are capable of beating anyone in this league. There will always be strange results and more so at this stage of the season when the pressure mounts, squeaky bum time as the brilliant Sir Alex Ferguson says. We are on the edges of the playoff race but given our budgets its a fantastic achievement by everyone, none more so than the players. A small squad they may be, a talented and industrious one they certainly are. We cannot affect any other teams results other than our own and that is my sole concentration''.

'' We went into the match without Adam Quinn and Eddie Hutchinson, two big players for any team at this level. Eddie has in particular been outstanding recently and a big reason why we have accumulated as many points as we have in recent months. Matt Langston joined us on loan and he had a decent evening, nothing more than I expected to be honest''.

'' We have picked up some injuries again from last night, it never seems to ease but we just need to deal with it. Charlie Ademeno looks likely to miss Saturdays home match with Ebbsfleet United and Glenn Wilson has reported a soreness that has also seen him miss games but both players will get intensive treatment to give them every chance. Matt Langston took a knock late on but we are hopeful he will be fit for selection''.
