CTFC - Posted 12th March 2010

Ebbsfleet United are the visitors tomorrow (Saturday) to The Broadfield Stadium as the Reds go in search of another 3 Blue Square Premier points.

The visitors arrive on Saturday in 18th place in The Blue Square Premier but have played up to four matches more than their relegation rivals. However they are unbeaten away from home in their last 6 Blue Square Premier fixtures with a win away at Luton Town and highly respectable draws at Kidderminster Harriers and Wrexham.

Reds boss Steve Evans has failed to add a new loan signing in time for tomorrows match but does not rule out the targeted player joining next week.

Adam Quinn, Eddie Hutchinson Charlie Ademeno and Glenn Wilson are all subject to late fitness tests but Matt Langston has been declared fit for selection.

Steve said; “Ebbsfleet have very good players and their away form is excellent. They will provide a real test for us and we know it will be a difficult match. They not only beat Luton Town away but have won four and drawn two of their last six on the road.

“We have a few lads who we will test shortly before kick off, at this minute I am hopeful on a couple but not on the other two.

“I do not have to say how important the match is for us and how big a victory it would be. The lads are playing some great football, there is a real buzz in the dressing room. Togetherness, desire, application and tenacity – they are just not words, they are assets needed with the ability to have a chance of winning a football match.

“We need to play this match and every other one we have left as if it was our last one. The lads are giving it everything they have and for a squad of our size to be competing as we are, that tells you we may lack in numbers at times but not in quality.”

The action kicks off at 3pm and we look forward to having your continued support.
