Pablo rejoined Reds last summer after leading League 2 Rotherham to last season’s play-off final and started over 40 games for the Millers.

Began his career with Derby County in 2002 and had spells with MK Dons and Walsall before joining Rotherham. In 2007 he had a brief but successful loan spell with Crawley and had no hesitation in linking up again with Steve Evans.

Started the season in midfield before forming an impressive partnership with Kyle McFadzean in central defence. A lifelong Manchester United fan who fulfilled a boyhood dream when he played against the team he supported as a boy when he played at Old Trafford, he lifted the Blue Square Bet championship trophy despite missing the final month of the campaign with an ankle injury.
